UBIK® is broadening its target audience significantly, since our latest partner Pixis will help to introduce the Augmented Reality solution in the South American Metal- and Mining industry.
Headquartered in Santiago de Chile, Pixis is a leading provider of high-end technology solutions and services, primarily serving clients in the metals & mining industry, which is predominantly copper-related in the region. Pixis has been instrumental with regional services & support of Intergraph PP&M’s global client base as well as delivering professional services related to Hexagon’s Brand businesses, from training & support to as-built plant modeling and for information management & data handover activities.

Partnership with PerfectProjects

Following preliminary meetings at the HXGN live event in Las Vegas in June 2015, PerfectProjects Inc., based in Houston Texas and Augmensys GmbH have signed a partnership agreement. The scope of the agreement includes software sales and distribution and consulting services for software implementation.
This move is significant for both businesses, as Augmensys continues an impressive global expansion program, and PerfectProjects adds a unique and revolutionary software component to its previous expert asset information management consulting practice.

Hans Vanderdrift, CEO of PerfectProjects states, “with Augmensys we can now configure mobile support for all sorts of applications like commissioning, inspection or work permits. Augmensys enables users access to any data that otherwise sits in silos in a datacenter and at the same time it helps to show this data in the context of the equipments they are looking at. This is truly revolutionary stuff!”

The partnership clearly pursues the aim of providing beneficial mobile applications for joint customers, taking advantage of the broad process and service expertise of PerfectProjects, which when combined with the technology of Augmensys will form a unique offering to the market and constitute the solid fundamental of a successful cooperation.

Partnership with Actemium

An extremely successful trade fair attendance at the world forum for chemical engineering and process industries in June this year – the Achema in Frankfurt – paved the road for the now sealed partnership between Actemium Controlmatic GmbH and Augmensys GmbH.

At that show, we brought one of the great visions of Industry 4.0/IoT to life together, and had a wide audience of visitors to witness and experience it for the very first time: mobile support of industrial operations directly in the plant with the help of Augmented Reality, on regular mobile devices as well as hands-free in cooperation with the American company Daqri.

In addition to such innovative scenarios as displayed on the fair, the partnership clearly pursues the aim of providing beneficial mobile applications for joint customers already today.
