UBIK OPC UA Interface

With the upcoming release of UBIK® 2.4 we are very happy to announce that we will also release the first version of the brand-new UBIK® OPC UA (Unified Architecture) interface!

Now you will be able to connect UBIK® to any DCS/SCADA system that supports this wide-spread standard, which will open a complete new range of possible usage scenarios: think of checking the interlock status of a motor whilst you are in the field during commissioning, enter reading values directly on site that end up in the trending of the DCS system, or even check live sensor data in combination with UBIK’s push services.

There’s literally no limit in possible applications, everything your DCS/SCADA system exposes via OPC can now be read and, if you want to, even modified on your mobile device. That all comes, of course, along with a seamless integration in UBIK’s customizing environment. So bringing DCS values mobile is now a matter of Drag&Drop, leveraging the powerful workflow capabilities of UBIK®.
